The big difference is in the material, existing brands still largely make their toy blocks and toy plates from ABS plastic. ABS Plastic comes from petroleum and is very polluting during production. Also, ABS plastic is not easy to recycle and the discarded ABS is burned in the incinerator. This has resulted in unprecedented CO2 emissions for years. The BiOBUDDi toy board is not made from an oil-based raw material, but from our patented BiOBUDDi plant material.
