The Tyrannosaurus Rex looked very intimidating, but it could hardly use its short forelimbs with only two claws because they did not even reach its mouth. With a height of almost seven meters and a length of more than thirteen meters, the Tyrannosaurus Rex was probably not a very skilled hunter, but rather a scavenger that ate whatever other animals had left behind. It had more than fifty teeth that could grow longer than 15 centimeters. These were not used for chewing, but for tearing. It swallowed its food in large chunks. To locate food more easily, the eyes of the Tyrannosaurus Rex were positioned forward, allowing the fields of vision of both eyes to overlap.
